Florida Simmered Shrimp

Ingredients  
1 1 1/2-ounce bag of prepared shrimp boil
1 onion, sliced
1 lemon, sliced
1 clove garlic, sliced
2 teaspoons salt
2 quarts water
2 pounds Florida shrimp, peeled and deveined
 
Preparation
Combine all ingredients, except shrimp, in a 4-quart saucepan. Cover and bring to a boil on high heat. Add shrimp, reduce heat to medium high, cover and stir occasionally 6 to 8 minutes, or until the largest shrimp is opaque throughout. Drain, chill and serve with favorite dipping sauce.
