Phyllis McCranie is a Development Representative II with the Bureau of Seafood and Aquaculture Marketing. Her primary responsibilities include conducting a variety of public relations activities and grant writing for the bureau on behalf of the Florida seafood and aquaculture industry.

She has almost 30 years experience in public relations, advertising and marketing in the public and private sectors. This includes six years in the public relations departments of Tallahassee Community College and Pensacola Junior College, 15 years in advertising at the Tallahassee Democrat newspaper and over eight years in the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.

Phyllis is a native Floridian and she attended the University of West Florida.
