Focus: The Florida Seafood Festival is the state's oldest maritime exhibit. The two-day event annually draws thousands of visitors to this scenic historic town at the mouth of the Apalachicola River. The festival features delicious seafood, arts and crafts exhibits, seafood related events and displays under the shady oaks of Apalachicola's Battery Park. Events include oyster eating, oyster shucking, a parade, a 5K Redfish Run and a Blessing of the Fleet.
