Title: PHP Processed Oysters - 1
Length: 60-seconds
(sounds of restaurant in background)
Waiter: Are you ready to order, ladies?
Customer 1: The raw oysters sound good … don’t you think Mary?
Customer 2: (regretfully) I can’t. Too risky!
Customer 1: Risky?!
Customer 2: Raw oysters can have a bacteria that is not a threat to healthy people … but people at-risk can get really sick.
Customer 1: Well, who’s at risk?
Customer 2: People with liver disease, diabetes, stomach problems…or other health-weakening conditions. A doctor would know.
Waiter: Excuse me. May I suggest our PHP oysters?
Customer 2: PHP? What’s PHP?
Waiter: PHP means post-harvest processed. PHP uses flash freezing, low heat or high pressure to reduce bacteria levels … but you still get the fresh taste and texture of raw oysters!
Customer 2: PHP? Sounds great! I’ll have a dozen PHPs on the half shell!
Customer 1: And I’ll have the same.
(background sounds fade out, music fades in)
Announcer: If you’re at risk, always ask for PHP oysters. You can reduce your risk of illness by eating oysters that are labeled as PHP, or eliminate the risk by eating oysters fully cooked. If you’re unsure about your risk status, ask your doctor.
